The extended 500-bed hospital building is 16,800 square feet wide, with two operation-rooms and a maternity ward.
Currently, the township People’s hospital is an existing 25-bed hospital, which does not have enough beds for emergency patients and sets up the ones in the corridor.
Now, the new hospital building was constructed entirely. After opening, the hospital will deal with emergency cases occurring within the township. Officials and staff from the Ministry of Health and Sports have provided medical services to residents from Bamauk and more than 100,000 residents from 220 villages in 50 village-tracts in the township. — Hlaing Bwa (Bamauk)/GNLM
