Cooking oil provided to 13,869 households with irregular income in Maungtaw

The government provided two litres of cooking oil each to 13,869 households with irregular income for the fourth time in Maungtaw township, Rakhine state during the pandemic period. A edible oil-providing ceremony was held at the General Administration Department at 10 am on 5 November.
At the aid supporting ceremony, Township Administrator U Aung Ye explained matters regarding the aid support. Then the township administrator and the officials handed over the cooking oil to the related authorities. Then, the cooking oil will be distributed to the households with irregular income from 90 village-tracts and wards in Maungtaw. Each household will receive two litres of cooking oil. The government provided nine-litre edible oil bottles numbering 1,540. The village and ward authorities are distributing the cooking oil starting from 5 November.
