Coord meeting held for Walking Thingyan in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn chairs the coordination meeting for holding the Walking Thingyan in Nay Pyi Taw.

The preliminary meeting was held to observe the Walking Thingyan for the people of Nay Pyi Taw to celebrate the 2023 Myanmar Traditional Thingyan Festival at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Union Information Minister U Maung Maung Ohn highlighted that the Walking Thingyan will be included this year and it is the first time in Nay Pyi Taw. He called for preserving Myanmar’s traditional cultural atmosphere and collaborative efforts to systematically manage the festival under all-round and different perspective reviews.
Then, Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, Nay Pyi Taw Council member Colonel Min Naung, Nay Pyi Taw Deputy Mayor U Maung Maung, Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung and officials from Brilliant Aura Company discussed the successful holding of the coming 2023 Nay Pyi Taw Thingyan Festival.
Afterwards, the Union minister coordinated the necessary things and concluded the meeting. — MNA/TS
