The MoI deputy minister chairs the coordination meeting on the Youth and Literary Arts Festival for Diamond Jubilee Independence Day.

The coordination meeting on the Youth and Literary Arts Festival in commemoration of Diamond Jubilee Independence Day was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Chairman of the Youth and Literary Arts Festival Organizing Committee Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint, Working Committee Member Nay Pyi Taw Council Member U Myint Soe, permanent secretaries, departmental staff and invitees attended the meeting.
First, Deputy Minister U Ye Tint said that eight ministries that will set up exhibition booths can start their preparations for the festival on 23 December, that employees of ministries, entertainment groups, study groups, students and supervising teachers from basic education schools will be invited to the festival and that special attention must be paid to security for visitors to the festival.
Organizing Committee Member NPT Council Member U Myint Soe also took part in the discussion. Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung of the Ministry of Information, presented programmes of literary and artistic exhibitions and measures to be taken by the working committee. Then, attendees made a sector-wise discussion about successfully holding the exhibition and the deputy minister gave a concluding remark.
“Kyee Myat Thaw Myanmar”, “Thu Kyun Ma Khan Pyi” and “Nga Ba” movies will be shown at Myanmar International Convention Centre II from 26 to 28 December. — MNA/CT
