Coordination meeting on loan and grant projects funded by World Bank holds

MIFER deputy minister joins the coordination meeting on the World Bank-aided projects yesterday.

The Coordination Meeting on the loan and grant projects implementing in Myanmar funded by the World Bank, led by U Than Aung Kyaw, Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, was held in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
During the meeting, the officials from the respective ministries explained the current implementation status of the ongoing loan and grant projects funded by the World Bank for Myanmar, as well as the update status of their cooperation with the Bank. After hearing the reports from ministries concerned, Deputy Minister gave the suggestions and guidelines for the continuation of projects.
The meeting was also attended by the senior officials from Ministry of Planning, Finance and Industry, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, Ministry of Transport and Communication, Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and Sports, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Social Welfare Relied and Resettlement, Central Bank of Myanmar, Yangon City Development Committee and Foreign Economic Relations Department.
