Coordination meeting on preparations for holding 10th ASEAN Quiz-Regional Level

The second coordination meeting on preparations for holding the 10th ASEAN Quiz-National Level was organized via videoconferencing at MRTV in Nay Pyi Taw Tatkon yesterday.
Myanmar will host the 10th ASEAN Quiz-Regional Level 2022.
The virtual coordination meeting was attended by Director-General U Ye Naing of MRTV and other officials of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Information and MRTV (Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw and Tatkon).
During the meeting, the officials discussed selecting 50 students aged between 15 to 18 from the respective regions and states by the Ministry of Education for the national level contest to hold the 10th ASEAN Quiz-Regional Level and provide technical assistance for the regional level contest in December 2022.
The ASEAN Quiz is a project of SCI and alternatively organized by the ASEAN member countries once every two years since 2002. Thailand hosted it in 2002, Brunei in 2004, Malaysia in 2006, the Philippines in 2009, Cambodia in 2012, Viet Nam in 2014, Laos in 2016, Indonesia in 2018 and Singapore in 2020. Myanmar will host the 10th 2022 ASEAN Quiz (Regional Level) in 2022. — MNA
