COVID-19 immunization continues in regions, states

Locals get jabbed against COVID-19 in Taungoo.

Tatmadaw has been working together with doctors, health workers and volunteers to carry out COVID-19 immunization to people over the age of 40, including monks, nuns, civil service personnel, prisoners, persons with disabilities, ethnic armed forces, people in IDP camps, and students aged above 12 in regions and states.
Yesterday, 333 people in Kyaukme Township, northern Shan State, 2,350 people in eastern Shan State, 12,435 people in Mon State and Kayin State, 8,375 people in Yangon Region, 8,925 people in Ayeyawady Region, 5,321 people in Rakhine State, 640 people in Sagaing Region; 8,560 people in Mandalay Region, and 520 people in Bago Region received the COVID-19 vaccines.
In addition, 2,050 students in Ayeyawady Region and 772 students in Rakhine State were also inoculated yesterday.
Officials from the respective military commands encouraged those people and coordinated where necessary. — MNA
