COVID-19 vaccination processes conducted as usual

The Tatmadaw medics, health officials, nurses and health workers of public hospitals, including volunteers, conduct vaccination programmes in regions and states for monks, nuns, people aged over 40, inmates, people with disabilities, ethnic armed groups, patients with chronic disease, people at IDP camps and students aged over 12.
On 12 and 13 December, 11,137 people 14 townships of Shan State (North) were vaccinated against COVID-19 while 2,495 people in four townships of Shan state (East), 6,646 monks and people in nine townships of Mon and Kayin states, 3,009 people in Myeik Township of Taninthayi Region, 6,935 people in six townships of Yangon Region, 45,334 people in 26 townships of Ayeyawady Region, 4,285 people in three townships of Rakhine state, 9,583 people in seven districts of Mandalay Region and 3,265 people in three townships of Bago Region.
Similarly, 2,765 students in 26 townships of Ayeyawady Region and 2,575 students in Htantabin Township of Bago Region received their vaccines.
The respective region commanders and officials inspected the vaccination processes and instructed the necessary things. — MNA
