COVID-19 vaccinations continue in Katha Township

A Katha local gets jabbed against COVID-19.

Those who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine got the second dose at Katha City Hall, Katha Township, Sagaing Region from 8 am on 3 November.
The second batch of COVID-19 vaccine (Sinopharm), which arrived in October, is being administered to a total population of 2,000 in the region.
Sayadaws, monks and nuns from wards and villages in the township, elderly people aged over 65 and above 18-year-olds came and got the vaccines, officials said.
Necessary health care and assistance activities are being carried out in groups by township-level departments and social organizations in collaboration with public health department officials.
People who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 in the township are being vaccinated for the first time, according to the Township COVID-19 disease control and emergency response committee. —Katha District (IPRD)/GNLM
