COVID-19 vaccine drive continues in various states, regions

A local from Kyaunggon Township in Ayeyawaddy Region gets COVID-19 vaccine shot on 27 December.

Vaccination programmes are being carried out in full swing in various regions and states as the vaccination programme is one of the most important activities in the prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19 disease.
Yesterday, doctors and nurses from public hospitals, medical teams from the Tatmadaw, relevant healthcare workers in collaboration with volunteers gave COVID-19 vaccines to 2,376 people from twenty-six townships in Ayeyawady Region, and 136 people from Taungoo Township in Bago Region, respectively. —MNA
