As now is open season, globetrotters arrive in Myanmar to enjoy scenic beauty and ancient cultural heritages in the country. Under the arrangement of Myanmar Voyages International Tourism Co., Ltd and the supervision of Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and Ministry of Transport, cruise liner M.V. Manerva of Britain-based All Leisure Group Plc Company with 228 tourists from 12 countries and 173 crew members arrived at Bo Aung Kyaw Port in Yangon from Galle Port of Sri Lanka on Wednesday.
The majority of tourists from the vessel are British citizens. They plan to go sightseeing in downtown Yangon and visit Bago, Thanlyin and Kyauktan, an official of Myanmar Voyages International Tourism Co., Ltd told media.
The cruise liner will depart Bo Aung Kyaw Port at 5.30 pm on 12 December for Langkawi Port in Malaysia.
