Customs Department gives permit for anti-COVID-19 supplies on 22 July

Customs Department grants daily permission for importation processes of COVID-19 protective equipment and medical products through airports, harbours and land border checkpoints during the current public holidays, officials said.
On 22 July (yesterday), the Customs Department issued import process permissions for 69 companies at Yangon International Airport and 34 companies at other border checkpoints.
The department has already issued import permissions for 2,698 oxygen concentrators, 17,184 Oximeters, 1,788 thermometers, 1,080 oxygen regulators, 1000 flow meters, 2502 nasal cannula, 200 oxygen masks and 50 oxygen filters at Yangon International Airport.
Next, 99,725 kg of masks and surgical gloves, 15390.66 cubic metres of liquid oxygen and pure oxygen, 2,200 set of oxygen cylinders and regulators, and 6,954 sets of oxygen plants and concentrators were also given permits at land border crossings of Muse, Chinshwehaw, Myawady and Tachilek, respectively. — MNA
