Cyclone Mocha donor appreciation event, recovery fundraiser held in Yangon

A ceremony to honour Cyclone Mocha donors and raise funds for recovery was held at The Heart of Yangon in Mingala Taungnyunt Township, Yangon Region. U Ye Htet Naing, General Secretary of the We Love Rakhine and one of the event organizers, shared this information on the evening of 5 November.
The ceremony commenced with a performance by the Rakhine Band, followed by the screening of a video about Mocha. We Love Rakhine Chairman U Tun Tun Naing delivered the opening speech. The list of donors was presented by the We Love Rakhine general secretary. Certificates and awards were then presented to Mocha donors.
Finally, the Rakhine folk music troupe including Yadana Maing, Win Ko Khaing and Myat Khaing Kyaw also made their music performance. — ASH/KZW
