Daw Khin Myo Kyi, who was nominated as Yangon Region Advocate General by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein, was sworm in at the Second Yangon Region Hluttaw seventh regular session 13th-day meeting, held yesterday.
Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein nominated her to the vacant post of Yangon Region Advocate General at the Yangon Region Hluttaw meeting held on 26 September, and on 27 September, Hluttaw approvesher appointment.
At her nomination, the Hluttaw announced for Hluttaw representatives who wanted to object to her appointment to do so with supporting evidences, but there were no objection.
Daw Khin Myo Kyi who was appointed as Yangon Region Advocate General had served as a law office for 34 years, starting from 1984, and had retired from the service last June, is now 61 years old it is learnt.
