Defence Services families hold ordination, novitiation Ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw

The families of Defence Service Office (Army, Navy and Air) organized their 6th ordination and novitiation ceremony yesterday at Kan Oo Monastery (Yezin), Zayarthiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw.
Present at the ceremony were Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Ngwe, Union Minister Lt-Gen Sein Win, Lt-Gen Ye Aung, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw and their wives, Tatmadaw officers, officials and their families.
The Senior General and party first paid homage to State Ovadacariya Abhidhaja presiding Sayadaw of Mandalay Maha Wizitayone Monastery Maha Rattha Guru Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Bhaddanta Wisaraina Bhivamsa and Township Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Chairman Kan Oo Monastery Sayadaw Maha Gantha Vacaka Pandita Sasanadhaja Dhammakariya Bhaddanta Vilasa.
After the ordination processes, the Senior General and party offered day meal to the Sayadaws. Similarly, other communal ordinations were also organized at the Mingala Zayone Pali University Monastery and Yadanasan Pariyatti Monastery in Pyinmana Township.
