Deputy Minister for Construction U Win Pe and officials inspected working process of the roads, and bridges under the BOT system at the office of Director (Civil) in Mandalay Region yesterday morning.
The Deputy Minister instructed the officials of the Department of Highways to inspect the ground conditions whether the actual situation is in line with the completion of the work.
After that, he inspected repaving of the road section between mileposts 10/0 to 13/0 on Mandalay-Mogok Road and gave necessary instructions. At Mingala Yankin Public Rental Housing Project in Shintawgon Village-tract, Patheingyi Township, the deputy minister stressed the need to harmoniously complete the construction tasks and viewed round the buildings.
In the afternoon, he inspected progress of the 8-storey extended building of the Children’s Hospital (550-bed) on 66th Street between 27th and 28th Streets, Chanayethazan Township.
After giving instructions to officials for worksite safety and timely completion, the deputy minister inspected the medical wards of the building.—MNA
