Deputy Information Minister inspects media activities in Magway Region

Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint arrived at the Information and Public Relations Department in Myothit Township of Magway Region yesterday morning and met the staff.
Then, he visited the Natmauk Township Information and Public Relations Department and inspected the community-based centre which is being prepared to launch with the State grant.
Next, the deputy minister met the director of the Magway Region Information and Public Relations Department, the district assistant director, the Natmauk township officer and staff and discussed work-related matters. He also inspected the Taungdwingyi Township Information and Public Relations Department.
Then, he arrived at Aunglan Township Office and met the township staff officer, staff and person in charge of the MRTV retransmission station.
During the meeting with the staff, the deputy minister urged officials to perform their duties faithfully and correctly with the right ideology. The main responsibilities are to provide information, to entertain and provide knowledge and do with good intentions, the deputy minister stressed.
“Youth development and awareness-raising activities to be cooperated with the people is important,” he was quoted as saying. “Approaching to summer, all need to prepare for the danger of fires and other natural disasters,” the deputy minister pointed out. — MNA
