Deputy Minister meets Information Ministry staff in Kengtung

Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint inspected the Sub-printing house of News and Periodical Enterprise in Kengtung on the evening of 23 December and met with staff.
He also met officials from the Information and Public Relations Department of Kengtung, District Office staff at the Joint State Office, Township officers from Mongkat, Mongyawng, and Tongtah, officer in-charge and staff of Kengtung Sub-printing house, and officials from Myanma Radio and Television retransmission station.
He then inspected the Loimwe retransmission station and met with the staff.
Next, the deputy minister visited Mongphyat Township Information and Public Relations Department Office, Mongphyat retransmission station, office of the Information and Public Relations Department of Tarlay and the Tarlay retransmission station and met with the staff.
During the meeting, the deputy minister briefed them on the state’s future plans, working for the development of the country following the objectives, the need to share the truth with the public about the ongoing violence and rumours, correcting the ideas of young people, state stability and peace, elimination of terrorist activities, the need for education for the development of the country and raising awareness of COVID-19 outbreak.
He called on the people to work together to celebrate the upcoming Independence Day and Diamond Jubilee Union Day. —MNA
