The Deputy Minister for Information, U Aung Hla Tun, inspected the preparational work for holding the All Who Can Read Should Read campaign at the Myanmar International Convention Center II in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday. During his visit, the Deputy Minister came aboard to inspect the mobile libraries and the arrangement of books on the vehicles. Afterwards, he inspected the booths, the preparations for the opening ceremony, the readiness of rooms to accomodate for hosting of talks, and the place assigned for the purpose of shooting documentary photos.
The campaign to promote reading will be launched with a ceremony on 20 and 21 December. The campaign activities will include exhibition, public talks and paper reading sessions.
