Under the arrangement of World Bank, Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance U Maung Maung Win met with officials from Mexico’s Ministry of Finance and Public Credit and studied operations and structures of development banks in Mexico from 23 to 25 October.
During the observing tour, Deputy Minister U Maung Maung Win discussed matters related to restructuring of state-owned banks and sector of development banks with Mexico’s Deputy Minister for Finance and Public Credit Mr Jose De Luna Martinez.
Furthermore, Deputy Minister U Maung Maung Win visited development banks which are paying services for rural development, small and medium enterprises, agriculture and livestock, and infrastructure projects in Mexico. Officials from the banks explained operations of their banks to the deputy minister.
