Western Command Commander Maj-Gen Htin Latt Oo, accompanied by Rakhine State Government Social Affairs Minister U Aung Myo, Ethnic Affairs Minister U Tin Hla and party arrived at Myoyu village in Maungtaw Township and carried out development works.
Firstly, the commander and his party attended a groundbreaking ceremony to build a temporary building of the primary school in Myoyu Village and a ceremony to provide villagers with Buddha images and school uniforms.
Afterwards, the Western Command commander, Rakhine State cabinet ministers and officials provided Buddha images and foodstuffs such as cooking oil, rice and salt to 54 Mro ethnic households and school uniforms to local students, respectively. — Thet Lwin Soe (IPRD)/GNLM
