DICA aims to boost domestic investments

Union Minister Dr Kan Zaw for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations said on 6 September that priority enterprises would be invited to boost domestic investments during a meeting held at the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration’s office.
The startup centre will help entrepreneurs connect with investors and create an environment conducive to investing.
He ensures investment and company registration matters are in line with rules and regulations and urges staff to comply with the Civil Service Personnel Rules.
DICA is mandated to realize potential, facilitate public service and business, promote private sector development and boost domestic and foreign investment by creating a conducive investment climate to meet investment targets with potential companies, support startups, participate in regional and international economic cooperation, and enhance institutional frame, organization structure and employee performance, with Motto: D-Dutiful, I-Industrious, C-Capable, and A-Accountable. — TWA/KK
