Difficulty does not necessarily mean impossibility, so just remain patient

[dropcap font=”0″]A[/dropcap]ll things are difficult before they are easy. They are the words Thomas Fuller once said. This reminds us all that people throughout history have been inspired by big dreams and great desires in the belief that ‘tough times never last but tough people do’. The world has come to this far thanks to their relentless and insatiable thirst for constant improvement and betterment.
As is known to all, Rome was not built in a day. In other words, there is no such thing as something for nothing. It always takes something to realize something. In this respect, patience seems to be a forgotten word.
Ironically, patience is our innate quality. None of us bothers ourselves with flying into a rage while queuing for tickets or while waiting for an appointment with our seniors. Under such circumstances, we tend to stay calm in spite of occasional anger and emotional upset.
Nothing will last when done hastily. It takes time, effort and patience for anything to complete as flawlessly as possible. In fact, patience is concerned with living in the situation in hand and waiting for something special to happen, even if it takes months or years, as long as it manifests itself to us in the way we have been expecting.
There is a Myanmar saying that goes “To achieve better things in life, remain patient.” This shows that patience can affect our decisions and actions. Unless we take some time for our dreams to come true, unhappy endings will follow. We should therefore keep in mind that nothing in the world comes without difficulty. It will be our level of patience that will determine our future.
