Documentary video editing, photo shooting, news writing training held

MoI Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn opens the training in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The opening ceremony of the No 1 course on documentary video editing, documentary photo shooting and news writing was held at the assembly hall of the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
At the meeting, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn of the Ministry of Information said, “As the media can attract and organize people’s minds, trainees should try to help the improvement of the future of the country through the media. Media covers widespread areas and can enhance the country’s image. Media must be relevant to give entertainment and knowledge to the people. The quality of the picture and sound can enhance news value; therefore, news writing and video editing are interrelated. In the process of documentary photo shooting and video editing, trainees should learn to present news and videos systematically in line with the present time.”
It aims to enhance the capacity in shooting and editing documentary videos and photos on the undertakings of the respective ministries and to write news items in an accurate way on social media, the Union minister added. The training course is being attended by 48 participants from various ministries and the CBM and it will last from 5 to 23 September. — MNA
