U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, received the delegation led by Mr Martin Griffiths, Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator – the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on the current cooperation between Myanmar and the United Nations and facilitation for the provision of humanitarian assistance to the needy population. — MNA
