DPM MoFA Union Minister to attend Swearing-in Ceremony of new President-Elect of Islamic Republic of Iran

Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe being seen off at Mandalay International Airport before his departure for Tehran, Iran, yesterday.

At the official invitation of Mr Mohammad Bagher Galibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, a Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe left Mandalay by air for Islamic Republic of Iran on the morning of 28 July 2024 to attend the Swearing-in Ceremony of Mr Masoud Pezeshkian, the new Elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran which will be held in Tehran. The delegation was seen off at the Mandalay International Airport by officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. — MNA
