DPM MoPF Union Minister meets staff of affiliated departments in Rakhine State

Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein, accompanied by Rakhine State Economic Affairs Minister U San Shwe Maung, met the staff of the Planning Department, Central Statistical Organization, Myanma Economic Bank, Myanma Agriculture Development Bank, Myanma Insurance, Budget Department, Internal Revenue Department, Customs Department, Financial Regulatory Department and Pension Department in Sittway Township of Rakhine State on 26 February.
Moreover, he also inspected the district branches and township branches of Myanma Economic Bank and Myanma Agriculture Development Bank, Customs Department, Internal Revenue department and Planning Offices in Kyaukpyu and An townships on 28 February and on 1 March together with Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin.
During the meetings, he highlighted the implementation of estimated projects, granting of a quality loan and drafting of plans to reduce Non-Performing Loans (NPL), tax collection, tax awareness programmes and cooperation of departmental staff in supporting the MSMEs. — MNA/KTZH
