DPM MoTC Union Minister attends Nepali National Day reception

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo attended a reception at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Yangon yesterday to mark the 10th anniversary of Nepal’s Constitution and National Day. The event began with national anthems of Myanmar and Nepal, followed by traditional Nepali dances.
Nepal’s Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Harishchandra Ghimire delivered a welcome address. The Deputy Prime Minister and the Ambassador then cut a cake to celebrate the anniversary. The event was embodied with a group photo and dinner, with attendees including U Soe Thein, Chief Minister of Yangon Region, U Lwin Oo, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, U Bo Htay, Yangon City Development Committee Chairman Mayor, diplomats and officials. — MNA/TS
