DPM MoTC Union Minister meets ministry’s new staff

State Administration Council Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San met 23 new staff who completed the AGTI diploma course of the Nationalities Youth Resource Development Degree Colleges (Yangon and Sagaing) for the 2022-2023 academic year in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Speaking at the event, he said the recruits should apply the subjects that they have studied in the workplace practically. Transport and communications are crucial for the development of the country and the ministry is working hard to meet the international standards in transport and communication services in line with its motto “Transport and Communicate for the benefit of the people”. Therefore, the new staff should know the visions of the ministry and follow the instructions of senior officials.
He then clarified the fields of work of 19 departments under the ministry.
Of 146 students who completed the AGTI diploma course of Nationalities Youth Resource Development Degree Colleges (Yangon and Sagaing) for the 2022-2023 academic year, a total of 23 — 15 males and eight females — will work at the ministry and they will be assigned at six departments under the ministry. — MNA/KTZH
