Drugs seized in Kawthoung, Taunggyi townships

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched the house of Lwin Ko Ko (aka) Ko Ko on Bogyoke street in Padaukshwewah Ward in Kawthoung Township and seized 56,000 stimulant tablets and 0.02 kilogramme of heroin at 3 pm on 23 March.
In addition, at 1 pm on 24 March, Police Force searched the house of Thein Kyaw (aka) Phoe Kyaw on YayhtaukOo street in Yayayekwin Ward in Taunggyi Township and captured 18,000 stimulant tablets.
Offenders are prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
