Drugs seized in Myeik, Nawnghkio, and Muse townships

A combined inspection team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force examined a motorbike driven by Aung Min Htike in Myeik Township on 24 May at 7:30 am. They captured 30,000 stimulant tablets.
At 5:00 pm on the same day, Police Force examined a motorbike driven by Yan Naing Phyo (aka) Pho Kaung accompanied by Aung Min Soe on the Nawnghkio-Yaksawk Road in Nawnghkio Township and seized 4,385 stimulant tablets.
In addition, at 5:30 pm on the same day, the Anti-Drug Police Force searched a Nissan X-Trail car on the Muse-Namkham road in Muse Township and confiscated 2,170 stimulant tablets.
They are prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, the Myanmar Police Force stated. — MNA
