Drugs seized in Pyigyidagun, Monghsat townships

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force examined a suspect by the name of Kaung Htet Zaw (aka) Kaung Kaung who came to claim a parcel from a bus station on the 73rd street in Pyigyidagun township and captured 30,000 stimulant tablets at 2:30 pm on 29 April.
After making some interrogations, the police arrested Ma Khin Htay Maw (aka) Ma Maw at a bus station on the 4th Myawadimingyi Street in Pyigyidagun township at 4 pm on the same day. In addition, the police searched the house of Kyaw Swa Min in Ma-O village of Monghsat township at 12:30 pm on 30 April and seized 100 stimulant tablets.
After making some interrogations, the police also searched the house of Htun Htun Latt in Ma-O village at 1 pm and seized 5,800 more stimulant tablets.
The offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
