Drugs seized in some townships across Myanmar

Drugs were seized in Tatkon, Kengtung, Tachilek, Loilem and Hopang townships, Myanmar Police Force stated.
A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force Police examined a motorbike driven by Myint Ngwe in Tatkon township and captured 600 stimulant tablets at 3:30 pm on 23 September.
According to the investigation, at 4 pm on the same day, police arrested a trafficker Sein Yoe with a motorbike and 4,000 stimulant tablets.
Similarly, at 3:15 pm on the same day, a combined team including the Anti-Narcotics Task Force searched a motorbike driven by Zaw Zaw Win (aka) Aeik Zaw in Kengtung township and seized 4,000 stimulant tablets.
On 22 September at 9:30 pm, Police Force stopped and inspected a Ford car driven by Kyamauk accompanied by Arrchan near Lwalsitong village in Tachilek township and captured 1.05 kilogrammes of a mixed powder of stimulant tablets (Happy Water) and consequently arrested Kyashal and Khanoukkon (aka) Kon with 0.5 kilogramme of ketamine, 0.85 kilogramme of Ice, 16,000 stimulant tablets and 2.345 kilogrammes of Happy Water at a rental house of Kyamauk in Saekham Ward in Tachilek township, according to the investigation.
On 23 September at 4:40 pm, a combined team consisting of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force examined a Vigo car driven by Sai May Htar with three people on the Panglong- Lai-Hka Road in Loilem township and captured 2.7 kilogrammes of Ice.
Similarly, at 6 pm on the same day, Police Force searched a house of Ngosei in Hopang township and seized 2,200 stimulant tablets and 0.015 kilogramme of heroin.
The suspects are prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA
