Drugs seized in Taunggyi, Tachilek townships

Drugs were seized in Taunggyi and Tachilek townships, Myanmar Police Force stated.
On 31 October, a combined inspection team consisting of members of the Shan State Police Force searched the farmhouse of Naing Lin Htet in Phetnan village of Taunglaylone village-tract in Taunggyi township and found Phoe The, Aung Bo Hein, Zaw Htet Aung and Myo Ko Ko Htike together with 11,750 stimulant tablets and K56,000 but Naing Lin Htet was not found there.
Similarly, at 10:30 am on 1 November, the combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched a house of Tee Toe (aka) Samkham in Wansouthkon village of Tachilek township and captured 1,200 stimulant tablets and 0.03 kilogramme of Ice.
At 7:00 pm on the same day, a combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force examined a motorbike driven by Arsetyah on Bogyoke Aung San Road of Tachilek and seized 5.4 kilogrammes of Happy Water.
They have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, the Myanmar Police Force stated. — MNA
