A total of 40 electric vehicles — 16 BYD Atto 3 electric vehicles imported by Essential Motors Co Ltd, 20 Neta V electric vehicles imported by Grand Sirius Co Ltd, four Faw Toyota bZ4X imported by Auto Top Power Co Ltd and 48 Wuyaung Honda electric motorcycles imported by NCX Myanmar Co Ltd were allowed to be claimed in accordance with the customs procedures. The import of EVs and electric motorcycles are approved by the National-level Steering Committee on Development of Electric Vehicles and Related Industries and exempted from customs tariffs. — MNA/KZW
