Agencies that submitted for the application of Overseas Worker Identification Card (OWIC) to Malaysia are required to include the prescribed excel file attached and if not attached, it will not be approved, Safe Migration warned.
It also advised that there should be no mistakes in filling in the worker’s name and passport number while the type of job needs to be the same as recommended by the diplomatic officer.
For one stop service, if the file size for email is big due to the number of workers, separate pdf files can be sent for passports and contracts (only the top and last pages).
For the approval process, only cover letter, letter from the diplomatic officer, demand letter, KDN / KSN, EC, calling visa and license copy need to be submitted in pdf files, Safe Migration warned.
