Ethiopian Ambassador calls on MoIP Union Minister

Union Minister U Myint Kyaing receives the Ethiopian ambassador yesterday.

U Myint Kyaing, Union Minister for Immigration and Population, met Mr Daba Debele Hunde, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Myanmar, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The two sides discussed the situation of finding and rescuing Ethiopian citizens who entered Myanmar illegally and deporting them without taking any action based on the friendship between the two countries, as well as the possibility of cooperation between officials of the two countries to prevent human trafficking and illegal entry.
They also frankly exchanged views on the conditions for cooperation in immigration-related activities between Myanmar and Ethiopia. — MNA/KZL
