Ethnic Affairs Union Minister receives CCPNT Chairman

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Nai Thet Lwin received Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of National Trade (CCPNT) Mr Lan Jun and party at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

During the meeting, they discussed matters related to local products of Myanmar ethnic peoples to be displayed at One Town, One Product Trade Fair which will be held in November 2019 in Changsha City, Hunan Province in China, and promoting and strengthening the two nations’ bilateral trade relations by exchanging views among the Myanmar Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association-MEEA, China Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs Association and the Chinese Entrepreneurs Association in Myanmar.
They also discussed matters related to investments for boosting production of ethnic people’s local products, sustainable business development in ethnic regions, working for an equal future and cooperation for economic and social benefits. The CCPNT Chairman and party also observed the display of traditional ethnic costumes in the ministry before the meeting. — MNA (Translated by Kyaw Zin Tun)
