Ethnic traditional cultural dances at National Landmark Garden, Nay Pyi Taw

Mass audiences came to the ethnic traditional cultural dances conducted by Fine Art Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture at the National Landmark Garden, Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Artistes performed Yein (group dance native to Myanmar) dances, six era Yein dances, music performance, Viet Nam dance, Indonesia dance, Indian dance, Chinese dance, “We are ASEAN” dance and other Yein dances.
In addition to these dances, puppet program, magic show, songs, traditional Myanmar duet dance and Anyeint (a traditional Myanmar entertainment form accompanied to instrumental music, song, and comedy routines in theatrical performances).
Ethnic national cultural dance performance was held as a monthly free event at National Landmark Garden (Nay Pyi Taw) and this is the seventh time.
“This free event now reaches the seventh time. Cultural dance troupes from Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, Ministry of Information and Ministry of Defence are conducting this free entertainment program in turn,” said U Wai Yan Kyaw, an official of the National Landmark Garden.
Visitors to the National Landmark Garden enjoyed the performances and also visited the replicas of traditional houses of ethnic people established in the garden. — Ko Min/ Nay Zar Zar Tun
