Fake news spreads on acts of security forces setting fire to two villages in Letpadan Township

subversive media spread fake news, claiming that security forces raided Yengan and Okpo villages in Letpadan Township of Bago Region at night on 27 August and set fire to them.
An official from the security force clarified an actual event that PDF terrorists arrived at Yengan Village on 27 August to gather their groups. According to secret information given by residents, security forces took necessary security measures in the area and fired at the terrorists with the use of heavy weapons. In the incident, PDF terrorists sustained injuries and retreated. Hence, the news of security forces torching the village was totally wrong.
