False news: Tatmadaw arrested 40 men in Kalay

p4 fakenews 2

The malicious media outlets are spreading false news expressing that Tatmadaw arrested 40 men in Kalay on 12 February, and also, on 2 February, the regional control command commander himself forcefully collected 40 people for people’s military service at the Sri Lanka monastery.
According to the security official, Tatmadaw did not go to Bontaw village that day, and the arrest of 40 men is only false news. On 2 February, the regional control command commander went to the Sri Lanka monastery and met members of the people’s militia. He also offered food and gave words of encouragement. It is just false news that the media is spreading intentionally. — MNA/TRKM
