Families of Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) office grow plants for third time

The third tree-planting ceremony (2022) of the families of the office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) was held near the Yezin Dam in Zeyathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday morning and State Administration Council Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla planted teak saplings on the occasion.
Present on the occasion were SAC Vice-Chairman and Deputy Commander-in-Chief (Army) of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Union Ministers, the Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air), the Commander-in-Chief (Air) and their wives, trainees of the National Defence College and the staff and their families of the office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and they also planted saplings.
Then, the Senior General and party looked around and cordially greeted the families of officers and other ranks collectively planting trees.
Between 2011 and 2022, a total of 181,357 trees, including teak, have been planted around the Yezin Dam to protect and conserve the environment and ecosystem.
Similarly, trees, including teak, industrial crops and shade trees, are planted at the command headquarters in the rainy season every year and a total of 230,670 trees have been grown by the entire Tatmadaw up to now. — MNA
