Families of Office of Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) held the Waso robe offering ceremony 2022 at Anawrahta Hall of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) yesterday morning, attended by Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla.
The Senior General and wife offered meals at the alms bowl, flowers, water and oil light to the Buddha image at Anawrahta Hall.

Presiding Nayaka of Bhamo Monastery of Mandalay Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Dr Bhaddanta Kumara Bhivamsa administered the Nine Precepts.
The Senior General and wife donated Waso robes and alms to Bhamo Sayadaw.
SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe donated Waso robes and offertories to Vice Chairman of SSMNC Presiding Nayaka of Sasana Wepulla Pali Tekkatho Monastery of Meiktila Agga Maha Pandita Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Bhaddanta Kovida. Council members and wives, the Council secretary and wife, the Joint Secretary and wife and senior military officers presented Waso robes and offerings to members of the Sangha.
Vice-Chairman Meiktila Sayadaw delivered a sermon, and the congregation shared the merits gained.
After the ceremony, the Senior General and wife, the Vice-Senior General and wife, and senior military officers offered day meals to members of the Sangha led by Chairman Bhamo Sayadaw. — MNA
