Fire breaks out at fuel station in Mahaaungmye Tsp


A fire broke out at Aung Myitta fuel station on 39 Street in Mahaaungmye East Ward, Mahaaungmye Township, Mandalay, at 4 pm on 29 January.
The fire started from sparks of fueling to oil tank from the light truck bowser.
A total of 200 gallons of octane petroleum, 300 gallons of diesel and property of the house worth K240,000 lost in the fire. U Tun Paw, 58, suffered from injury at hands and fire Sgt Win Thein at his head.
A total of 75 firefighters of Township Fire Services Department and 175 local firefighters put out the fire with the use of 55 fire trucks and three management vehicles within 15 minutes.
Mahaaungmye Township police station No 9 opened a file of lawsuit against outbreak of fire under the law.—Maung Pyi Thu (Mandalay)
