Five arrestees are seen after protests in Hline and Mingala Taungnyunt townships.

About 20 people staged a strike in U Aye street (1) of No (16) Ward in Hline Township of Yangon Region yesterday. Acting on tip-off, the security forces dispersed the protest crowd and detained three men, including Nyi Soe Myat, who lives in that township.
Similarly, about 30 rioters staged a demonstration between 119th street and Banyar Dala street of Yay Twin Gone Ward of Mingala Taungnyunt Township. The police dispersed the protest crowd and arrested two men, including Hein Naing Soe, who lives in Kyauktada Township.
The suspects will face effective actions under the law. — MNA
