Five youths bound for area of ethnic armed organization arrested

Acting on the tip-off of a dutiful citizen that youths who involved in the riotous protests would attend the course of explosion in connection with an ethnic armed organization, security forces take special security measures in respective areas.
In so doing, security forces inspected a Toyota Vios with number plate 4P/7429 driven from Nay Pyi Taw to Yangon by U Soe Moe, son of U San Htay of Meiktila, at the corner of Yangon-Mandalay Highway and Inwa Bank road in Toungoo at about 12:30 pm on 31 March. They arrested Daw Shwe Zin Aye, 38, daughter of U San Shwe, from Meiktila and U Tayar Soe, 21, son of U Soe Min from Meiktila, from the vehicle.
The security forces also inspected KIA Picanto with number plate 6Q/2462 driven by U Zaw Zaw, son of U Kyin Thaung from Myingyan in front of Pawtawmu Pagoda on Yangon-Mandalay Highway at about 12:40 pm. They found his wife Daw Theint Thanda Hnin, 38, daughter of U Myo Thet, aboard the vehicle together with two laptops and other accessories. After investigating them, they were arrested in time to go to areas of the ethnic armed organization to attend the military training course.
They confessed that they led the riotous protests, provided shields and spears to be used in attacking security forces to rioters, collected cash donation to be provided to former personnel who joined the CDM movements, exploded the explosives on test and committed social punishment against teachers who did not join the CDM. They contacted U Htet Aung, 52, old 88 generation student (his father name and address are under scrutiny), and U Myint Soe, whose rank from an ethnic armed organization is under scrutiny.
Preparations are being made to take action against them under Section 505 (b) in the case of State sedition. Efforts are being made to arrest a chain of suspects U Htet Aung and U Myint Soe, as quickly as possible. — MNA
