Follow-up lab tests reveal negative for Nay Pyi Taw Tatmadaw man

The Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services reported on 4 May that a Tatmadaw man within the Nay Pyi Taw Command territory had tested positive for COVID-19 and relocated to the Tatmadaw’s quarantine facility.
Lab specimens were taken from the Tatmadaw man again on 15 May, 11 days after he was first confirmed of having the virus, and again on 17 May, 13 days after the confirmation. Two lab tests on the lab specimens revealed the officer no longer had the virus.
The Tatmadaw man will be put under hospital quarantine for 14 days, according to the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services. —MNA (Translated by Zaw Htet Oo)
