Foodstuffs, school supplies provided to temporarily displaced people in Kayin State

Kayin State Chief Minister U Saw Myint Oo, accompanied by the South-East Command commander and deputy commander, state cabinet members and local military officers, provided foodstuffs and school supplies to temporarily displaced people in Hlaingbwe Township of Hpa-an District and Myinegyingu Special Region in Kayin State on 8 May.
The Kayin State chief minister, the South-East Command commander, the deputy commander and responsible officials provided over K33 million worth of foodstuffs and school supplies to 2,089 temporarily displaced persons in Myinegyingu Special Region.
They then handed over household certificates and 151 citizenship scrutinization cards to temporarily displaced people in Hlaingbwe Township. The Hlaingbwe Township Immigration Department is working to issue CSCs to the remaining 116 people.
Next, the Kayin State chief minister and party provided more than K53 million worth of foodstuffs and school supplies to temporarily displaced people in Hlaingbwe Township. – Saw Myo Min Thein (IPRD)/TS
