Mr. Milos Zeman, President of the Czech Republic, said in his message that the Czech Republic and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar have been long combining traditional friendship.

Mr. Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italy, said in his message that he sent the congratulatory message to President U Win Myint, on behalf on the Italian people and on his personal behalf the most sincere congratulations and fervent greeting for the fulfillment of the high office accorded to U Win Myint by the Parliament.
“Italy looks with greet confidence to the consolidation of the democratic progress of Myanmar. I hope that during Your mandate our Countries, bound together for a long time by friendship and fruitful forms of collaboration in various fields, may further strengthen their bilateral relations – extending them to all the areas of mutual interest – and build more solid relations even at regional level and within the framework of multilateral fora,” said Mr. Sergio Mattarella.

Mr. Kim Yong Nam, President of the Presidium of Supreme People’s Assembly of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, extended his warm congratulations to President U Win Myint on his election as the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Mr. Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea, expressed his warmest congratulations to President U Win Myint on his election as the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on behalf of the government and the people of the Republic of Korea.
“I also would like to extend my sincere congratulations on continuous economic development achieved by the Government of Myanmar since its inauguration in 2016. I hope that the government will further accelerate national unity and economic development of Myanmar under your leadership,” said President Mr. Moon Jae-in.
