Four suspects arrested for involvement in Kyikanpyin border outpost attack in October in northern Rakhine

Four men were arrested yesterday on suspicion of involving in violent attacks to a border outpost in Kyikanpyin in norther Rakhine in October.
Acting on a tip-off that the suspects were sheltering in Myitnar Village around 2.30 pm yesterday, the security forces carried out an area clearance operation in the village and arrested Bawni Arm and Marmauk Bweyar who involved in the attacks and Abdullah Kein who financed the
attackers.
Similarly, members of the Myanmar Police Force and local authorities arrested Mamud Rawphi from Kyatyopyin Village.
The suspects would be handed over to a local police station for further interrogations.
The security forces are carrying out the area clearance operations in the township.
